Richard Hardy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Hardy (Gaspé, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hardy and Shirley Harrison; and his sister Shannon. He is survived by: his wife Debra Dimock; his nephew Bryan (Dominique); his great-niece Elizabeth; his great-nephew Gabriel; his sister Debbie (Peter); his niece Danielle; his great-nephew Emerson; and his niece Denise (Evan). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
