He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlemagne Bourbonnais and Romualda Vézina; and his sisters, Huguette (Bob), Georgette (Laurence), Lise (Don) and Nicole.

He is survived by: his wife Irma Berndt Bourbonnais; his children, Terri (Gavin) and Mark (Jill); his grandchildren, Ben, Brooke, Glen and Lee; and his brother Léo (Lorraine). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
