He was predeceased by : his parents, Maria Gwendolyn Bell and Eglon James Peterkin; his son Heron; his former life partner Olga; and his sisters, Lorraine Peterkin Harris and Patricia Grey.

He is survived by : his children, Andrew, Judith, Christine and Jessica; his grandchildren, Nicole, Melissa, Matthew, Gregory, Tyson, Emerson, Aidan, Riley, Myles, Tiara and Bella; his great grandchild Dean; his wife Cynthia; and his siblings, Elaine Johnson, Alicia Peterkin, Jim Peterkin and Doron Bell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
