Francesco Sgambetterra Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francesco Sgambetterra (Laval, Québec), who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Girolama Salvadore; his children, Rocco (Jennifer), Bianca Stella (Ruben) and Caterina; his granddaughters, Adriana and Francesca; his siblings, Maria Luisa, Angela, Girolamo (Gilda), Antonio (Angela), Salvatore (Dora) and Vincenzo (Marinella); and his sisters-in-law, Vanna, Enza and Rosella.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex (10300 Bd Pie-IX, Montréal-Nord, QC H1H3Z1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Complexe Funéraire Pieix (10300 Bd Pie-IX, Montréal-Nord, QC H1H3Z1). Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Laval Cemetery (5505 Rang du Bas-Saint-François, Laval, QC H7E4P2).
