He is survived by: his spouse Garifalia Leontaraki; his children, Socrates Stavropoulos and Christina Stavropoulos (Valerio Desiato); his grandchildren, Joey D'Asti (Nathalie Codsi), Anthony D'Asti, Katerina Tsoraidis, Panayiotis Tsoraidis, George Tsoraidis, Fabio Desiato and Luca Desiato; his great grandchild Amalia D'Asti; his sister Aphrodite Stavropoulos (Nikos); and his siblings-in-law, Maria Leontaraki and Andreas Leontarakis of Crete. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Yves Légaré Complexes Funéraires (1350 Autoroute 13, Laval, QC H7X 3W9). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Nicholas Church (3780 Chem. du Souvenir, Laval, QC H7V1Y3). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2500 Av. des Perron, Laval, QC H7J1G5.
