He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermaline Ratt and Johnny Ratt; and his siblings, Archie, Jean Paul, Caroline and Cecine.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Matchewan-Ratt; his children, Jenny (Stephan), Casey (Rachel), Nicole (Andrew), Adam, Christal and Kimberly (Moïse); and his sister Bella. He is also survived by his seventeen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
