She was predeceased by: her spouse Dr. Chu-Jeng Chiu (Ray); and her caregivers, Sarah Gazieva and Love Uyoyou Usiaphre. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Daniel Chiu (Lisa Seachrist Chiu) and Dr. Wendy Chiu; and her grandchild Anya Chiu.
