He was predeceased by: his wife Harriett Spiro; his sister Rosalie Weisman; and his grandson Marcus Spiro. He is survived by: his children-in-law, Robert, Dianne Spiro, Andrea, Aaron Badgley, David and Lorena Bailey; and his grandchildren, Emily Badgley, Linda Badgey and Kira Spiro. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
