He is survived by: his wife Miriam Huberman; his son Mitchell Thaw (Stephanie Tse); his grandson Martin Thaw; his siblings-in-law, Sheila, Gerry Diamond and Carol; and his nieces and nephews, Mavis, Irwin, Earl, Audrey, Yuly, Bradley, Stuart, Elena, Gordon, Pam, Mark, Candi, Ilene, Alek and Beverly.

Longtemps après avoir quitté les laboratoires pour d'autres tâches au cegep, nous avons poursuivi nos conversations ponctuées de rires et de réflexions. Mes condoléances.”
