He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman and Zelda; his sister Aileen Tenenbaum; and his sibling-in-law Ferne. He is survived by: his wife Tina; his children, Laurence Tenenbaum, Alisa Tenenbaum and Randy Levitt; his granddaughters, Kara and Emma; his siblings, Leona (Bernie Ship), Lotte (Philip Manel) and Sheryl (Ervin Weinberger); and his siblings-in-law, Judy, Sammy Gonshor, Leiba and Ron Kahane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
