She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Fotios Giovas; her children, Dimitrios, Maria Giovas, Olga and Christos Papaioannou; her grandchildren, Effie Panagiota Papaioannou (Hammam), Antoine Hammam, Spiro Papaioannou, Nektarios and Panagiotis Giovas; her brothers, Kostas, Athina Sotirakos and Dimitrios Sotirakos (Greece); her sisters-in-law, Athanasia Liakopoulou, Georgia Sotirakou (Greece) and Maria Sotirakou (Greece); and her nephews, Georgios Sotirakos, Evangelos Liakopoulos and Dimitrios Liakopoulos (Ricca).
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evangelismos 'TIS Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church (777 Rue Saint-Roch, Montréal, QC H3N2X2).
In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to the Jewish General Hospital (Cardiology Department).
