In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Diego leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Diego may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Francesca Contarini Marchetta; his children, Lorenzo (Carmela), Joe (Patrizia), Angie (Joe) and Frank (Mary); his sister Angela Marchetta Butera; and his sisters-in-law, Francesca Aquilino and Vincenza Tortorici. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends.
