He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Riesman and Sadie Riesman; his brothers, Robert (Marcia) and Martin (Ninette); and his sisters-in-law, Magda (William Weintraub) and Janine (Sara).
He is survived by: his significant other Montréal; his grandchildren, Geno, Isaiah, Elliot Riesman-Tremonte, Theo, Nora Cowett, Diana, Fred Cowett, Joanna, Michael Tremonte, Alex and Jesse Brown; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Maya, Daniel and Tatiana Moses; and his nieces and nephews, Bob, Jean, Beth, Nicole and Elan.
A graveside service was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Royal Cemetery (1297 Chem. de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9). Their dedication, thoughtfulness and care made the last difficult years, after Sara's death and through the pandemic, so much better.
