It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Elias Shamy (Montréal, Québec), who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank Elias Shamy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michel Shamy and Adeebe Shamy; his sisters, Joyce Fireman and Celia Rossy; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Rossy Senior, David Fireman, Rudy Assaly and Eli Shaheen.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Tania Shamy; his sisters, Virginia Shaheen and Elaine Assaly; his children, Clifford Shamy (Rosanne Paquette), Leanne Mazerolle (Denis Mazerolle), Claire Shamy (Jeff Kirshner) and Dr. Michel Shamy (Claire Dyason); and his grandchildren, Clayton, Spencer, Ashlea, Alexandra, Harrison, Henry and Arthur. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, his life will be celebrated in a private family service on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
