He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Gigi Laredo Zaichick; his children, Mike, Brenda, Tina Laredo, Robert and Melissa Zaichick; his children-in-law, Christine Laforest, Patrick Elbaz and Mike Avidan; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jonah Elbaz, Nicky Nguyen, Jaime, Zoe Avidan, Abby, Ethan and Finn Zaichick; and his siblings, Max Zaichick, Jerry Zaichick and Sarah Lang. He was also cherished by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon E, Montréal, QC H2A1Y7). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
