He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Yolette Vool (Lola); his son Simon; his daughter-in-law Sharon Mendelson; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrew and Thomas Mendelson; his siblings, Sarah (Mort Korenberg), Hymie (Gertie Mendelson), Eddy (Madeline Mendelson) and Claire (Milton Friefeld); his siblings-in-law, Ida, Norman Akman, Dora, Harry Marvin, Ruthie, David Ellin, Dinah, Sam Epstein and Herb Vool; and his parents, Simon Mendelson and Nettie Mendelson. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and his large extended family.
