With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob Israel Raby M. S. W. (Montréal, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sam Raby (Dorothy), Sol Raby (Helen) and Rebecca Bolton (Buddy); and his brothers-in-law, Benjamin Roskies (Louise) and Leonard Wisse.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Roskies; his children, Benjamin (Benji), Jacalyn Rosenblatt of Newton, Joanna (JoJo), Elliot Halperin of Riverdale and New York; his sister Hilda Raby (Hindy); and his siblings-in-law, Ruth, David and Shana Roskies. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
