He is survived by: his wife Emily Jacobson; his children, Daphne, William and Dylan; his parents, Alda Smeets and Harry Kempkens; his father-in-law Alan Jacobson; and his sister-in-law Nora Jacobson (Billy).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex (1297 Chem. de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Complexe Funéraire Mont-Royal (1297 Chem. de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cimetière Mont-Royal (1297 Chem. de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9).
