He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Hambalek and Regina Hambalek; and his sister Gertrud. He is survived by: his wife Anna; and his son Robert. He is also survived by his family, as well as loving relatives and friends.
After years of declining health, a severe lung condition caused by COVID-19 infection quickly overtook him.
