She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Wolfman and Esther Wolfman of Toronto; her husband Saul Steinfeld; her siblings, Raye (Joe Friedman), Issie (Jeannie Wolfman), Max (Betty Wolfman), Yetta (Abe Berman) and Morrie (Pauline Wolfman); her siblings-in-law, Mac and Claire Wilner; and her niece Socky Sokoloff (Allen Wilner).
She is survived by: her children, Joanne (Bruce Costom), Robbie Steinfeld, Ellen (Mitchel Gurman) and Marla Steinfeld; her grandchildren, Lee, Aimée, Adam, Rachel, Jeremy, David, Cary, Jared, Laurie, Lauren, Ryan, Daniel, Laura and Derek; her great grandchildren, Emily, Jessica, Ben, Bodhi, Albie, Amelia, Max, Zoe, Kaily, Maya, Leah and David; her sister-in-law Deborah Tatro; and her nieces, Rhona and Anzie (Barry Stein).
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon O, Montréal, QC H3R2G8). A burial was held on Monday, December 1st 2025. For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
