He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ofter and Bertha Ofter. He is survived by: his children, Desiree (Justin Gill), Tatyana Ofter (Christopher Giannini), Jasmin Ofter and Chad Ofter; his sister Lois; his sibling-in-law Morrie Silver; and his extended family, Jens, Catharina and Børge.
