She is survived by: her spouse Professor Bernard Shapiro; her children, Jackie Kwitko (David Greenway) and Dr. Geoffrey (Paula Kwitko); her sisters, Eleanor Roth and Frances (Stan Schill); her sibling-in-law Professor Harold Shapiro; her grandchildren, Alexandra Greenway, Michael Kwitko, Daniel and Melissa Kwitko; her caregivers, Denise, Stephanie, Zibu, Elizabeth, Tamica, Irene and Lois; Marvin, Andrea Shapiro, Arlene and Lorne Cooper.
