With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Manuel Melo (Montréal, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, João and Joaquina; and his siblings, Maria (José), José (Judite) and Antonio (Maria).
He is survived by: his wife Isabel Maria; his children, John, Richard and Isabel; his great grandchildren, Jessica (Steven), Stephanie (David), Kaitlin (Jeremy), Richard, Liam, Julia, Holden and Connor; and his sister Conceição (Jeremias). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews and a host of much-loved friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Research Society.
