Maria Caferra Obituary

The memory of Maria Caferra (Montréal, Québec), who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Caferra and Esterina Caferra; her husband Benito Pomilio; and her siblings, Rosaria (Domenico) and Aurelio (Monique).

She is survived by: her children, Mary (Pierre), Gina (Steve), James (Rosemary), Dino (Jennifer) and Sonia (Manny); her grandchildren, Nadia (Ronnie), Stefano (Sandra), Tania (Paulo), Marco (Tiffany), Patrick, Jackson, Nicholas, Cristina, Justin and Dante; her great grandchildren, Sofia, Riccardo, Luciano, Liam and Damiano; and her brother Harry (Gaby). She is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated.
