She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Bev Rooney; her children, Shawn (Nadine) and Shelley (Lorenzo); her grandchildren, Erin (Rebecca), Justin (Stef), Amanda (Tony), Shane (Michele) and Kaitlyn (Eric); her great grandchildren, Riley, Eden, Nathan, Ava and Carter; and her stepgrandchildren, Emily, Andy and Ariane.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Actuel Services Funeraires (4500 Rue de Verdun, Verdun, QC H4G1M3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to the heart and stroke foundation.
