Michele Gammieri Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michele Gammieri (Montréal, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Michele shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michele farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Lina Lastoria; his children, Luigi (Christina) and Natalia (Guillaume); his grandchildren, Camilla and Nicola; his mother Natalia (late Luigi); his brother Sergio (Mary); and his sister-in-law Isabella (late Tony). He is also survived by his nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex (6700 Rue Beaubien E, Montréal, QC H1M1B2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Complex Chapel. An entombment was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at the Repos Saint-François D'Assise Cemetery (6893 R. Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N1C7).
