He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Souad Hodhod Bouassaly; his sons, George, Michael (Roxanne Boulos) and John (Nathalie Woolley); his grandchildren, Jenna, Catherine and Tyler; his parents, Michael Bouassaly and Zakiey Ayoub; his stepmother Zahia Kousaie; and his sisters, Violet (Tony Dirani) and Laurice (Fouad Hodhod). He was also cherished by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint George Orthodox Church of Montreal.
