He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Shatz and Gerald Shatz. He is survived by: his wife Selma; his children, Cathy Shatz (Greg Luger), Peter Shatz (Tami Chamblee) and Andrew Shatz (Sylvia Shatz); his grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Michael, Jamie, Sydney, Jordyn, Christopher, Joshua, Ethan and Aidan; his sisters, Phyllis (Mark Berkowitz), Karen Shatz, Esther (Vern Rosenberg), Anne (Stanley Schmerler) and Judy (Myer Stern); and his aunt Mary Katz. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
