He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Handelman and Harry Handelman; his parents-in-law, Anna and David Zunenshine (Zohar); and his siblings-in-law, Eddie, Rae Zunenshine, Zvi and Zila Zunenshine.
He is survived by: his children, Eliot, Jordan and Mindy; his grandchildren, Melissa Handelman and Benjamin David Flax; and his siblings, Oscar (Malca), Irving (Ching) and Elie (Nancy Bohbot). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
