Additionally, she worked at the Miriam Foundation for 22 years, where her impact was deeply felt.

“I will miss my childhood bestie. Star had the most beautiful smile, it was angelic. On a cold day Star could make you feel warm and on a sad day Star could make you feel happy. We walked to school together as kids everyday and only had one little argument I might add at which time she pushed me down into a mud puddle. I never said anything after that. I loved Star and will forever miss her. That beautiful smile is shining down upon us all this and every day.”
