She was predeceased by: her husband Harutyun Yarici; her parents, Manas Leylekoglu and Kaguhi Leylekoglu; and her brother Agop Leylekoglu. She is survived by: her brother Onnik Leylekoglu; her children, Garen (Tatevik Yarici), Arek (Maxine Yarici), Serli Leylekoglu and Karin (Nazareth Agbabian); and her grandchildren, Ari and Nareg Agbabian. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Memorial Donations in Surpuhi's name be made to the Armenian Apostolic Church of St Gregory the Illuminator.
