She was predeceased by: her spouse Shafik Hakim; her son Dr. Ronnie (Henriette); her sister Yvonne (Abraham Sheena); her siblings-in-law, Margaret and David Cohen; and her parents, Eliyahoo Shirazi and Flora Shirazi.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie (Lynda) and Emil (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Edward, Aaron, Elliot, David, Jasmine and Chelsea; her great grandchildren, Ella, Ezra and Remi; and her brothers, Jack (Angela Sheraton) and Edward Shirazi. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon O, Montréal, QC H3R2G8).
