He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edward (Gertrude), Salim (Doris) and Morris (Evette); and his siblings-in-law, Naaman Livnat, Amnon and Dalia Gareh.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Gareh; his children, Robert Mashaal (Evelyne Asseraf), Richard Mashaal (Evelyn Jerassy) and Joy Mashaal (Matthew Nuss); his grandchildren, Hannah, Max, Sophia, Michelle, Sam, Harrison, Ella, Lily, Jack and Claire Nuss; his siblings, Danielle (Freddy), Albert (Sandy), Sue (Kamal) and Emile (Miriam); and his sibling-in-law Yardena. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
