He is survived by : his children, Joanne, John (Sally) and Michael Strutynski (Myriam); his grandchildren, Lori-Anne and Christina; his great grandchildren, Daniel Joseph and Cole Everett Strutynski; his sister Anna Mary Anderson (late Raymond); and his brother-in-law LeRoy Clarke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
