He was predeceased by: his father Morel Cyr; and his brother Jean-Paul Cyr (Marie-Claude) of Québec. He is survived by: his mother Rina Cyr (Côté); his daughter Renée Morrisey-Bourgoin (Louis) of Grand Falls; his grandson Cody Bourgoin (Cassidy); his brother Bernard Cyr (Ella Tepper) of Grand Falls; his nieces and nephews, Geneviève (Florent) and Marie-Christine; his great-niece Joanie Nowak (Lukas); Rina Cyr of Grand Falls, Archer, Kalila and Antoni (Jennyfer). He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
