He was predeceased by : his parents, Annie Cross and Frank Deer; his former life partner Joan Lathi Deer; his wife Susan Johnson Deer; and his stepdaughters, Gladys and Aleda.
He is survived by : his stepdaughter Sylvia (Breezy); and his siblings, Tessie, Alec, Susan, Louise, Andrew, Mary, Nancy, Margaret, Angus and Raymond. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
