He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joseph Hernon and Mary Teresa Hernon (McKenna); and his nephew Cory Lawlor. He is survived by: his son James Hernon (Roula Giannakos); and his siblings, Joanne (Bob Lawlor), Susan, Michael (Lisa Cleveland), Carol-Jane (Jose Lopez), Theresa (John Zafiris), Christina, Kathleen (Gregory Flinn), Barbara-Jean (Edward Moxsom), Timothy and Maureen (John Sinclair). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
