He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart and Louise; and his sister Joan. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Shufler (Betty); his children, Brent (Janice) and Brenda; his grandchildren, Laura, Brian, Julia, Jessica and Breanna; and his friends, Kevin and Mary O'Connor.

Due to pandemic restrictions, a Celebration of Life and internment will be held when public gatherings can be done safely.
