He was predeceased by : his brother Pierre. He is survived by : his wife Enid; his children, Guy Philippe (Alice Tan), Marc (Suzanne Ballantyne) and Lise; his grandchildren, Stéphane, Patrick, Julian, Sophie, Jacques and Arthur; and his siblings, Louise, André and Luc. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
