He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Manwell and Emma Dagg; and his sons, Ernest, Barry and Brent.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Manwell; his children, Lori (Tom Megrath), Murray (Emerald) and Joanne (Bradley Elliott); his grandchildren, Ryan (Kerri), Ariel-Leigh (Sebastien), Mathea (Owen), Brianna (Nick), Britney, Braidon (Aggie), Collin (Jessica), Nathan and Makayla; his great grandchildren, Katelan, Allison, Ryan Jr., Joel, Alora, Spencer, Mia, Memphis, Bellamy, Amelia and Colton; his daughter-in-law Bonny; and his sister-in-law Jean Manwell. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
