He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Hodgins and Beulah Hodgins; his daughter Laurie Ann; and his siblings, Dorothy, Lloyd (late Marjorie), Glen (late Jean), Eileen (late Charlie Smith), Velma (Reuben Harris), Mabel (Myrland Sparling) and Herbie (late Norma).

He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his daughter Deborah (Brian Russett); and his siblings-in-law, Roberta and Les. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
