With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Bowie of Shawville, Québec, who passed away on November 7, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Bowie and Katherine Griffin; his wife Juliette Rouleau; his children, Frederick and Dale; and his siblings, Clement, Cletus, Charles, Raymond, Griffin, Francis, Keith, Muriel Johnston, Grace Johnston and Frieda McNally.

He is survived by : his children, Marlene (Frank Gramann), Ann (Martin Nicole), James (Dianne Dagenais) and Thomas; his grandchildren, Sue Bond (Steve), Cindy Gramann, Shannon Gramann (Maureen), Louis Nicole (Judy), Rachel Nicole (Jean-Francois), Gaelen Bowie, Maggie Bowie (Jake) and Devon Bowie; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Taylor, Zoe, Isabel, Brennan, Desmond, Riley, Jake, Hattie and Faye.

Donations in honour of Richard can be made to the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery Fund or to the Friends of St Joseph's Manor would be greatly appreciated.
