It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dina ELISABETTA (Sauro) Sassi (Sherbrooke, Québec), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gennaro Sassi; her children, Mary (Enzo), Lena (Richard), Linda (Geno), Carmen (Danny) and Gina (Ross); and her grandchildren, Daniel (Giuliana), Timothy (Rebecca), Virginia (Rino), Stephanie (Justin), Jennifer, Natalie (Steven), Matthew (Naomi), Richard James (Tracy), Adrian, Melanie (Oscar), Joel (Caroline), Michael (Janelle) and Laura (David).
Viewing will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex (6825 Rue Émery-Fontaine, Sherbrooke, QC J1N2S8). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Good News Chapel (5845 Bd Couture, Saint-Léonard, QC H1P1A8). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
