He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Edgar McDevitt and Marie Magee (family: Sherbrooke). He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly and Megan McDevitt; his grandchildren, Layla, Tommy Cait and Ampa; his siblings, Jacqueline Ross (Jackie), Alan McDevitt and Kathleen McDevitt (Kathy); his former wife Norma Husk; his siblings' children, Erin Ross-O'Flaherty (Ryan) and Colin Ross Jr.; and his friends, Barbara Ann Picken and Victoria Hill. He is also survived by cousins; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cass Funeral Home (3006 Rue College, Sherbrooke, QC J1M1J7). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 2902 Rue College, Sherbrooke, QC J1M1J5.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Mike's memory to Maison Aube Lumière or Médecins sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders.
