He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Joan Smith; his children, Susan Magee (Dan) of Sutton, Louisa Petten (Al) of Keswick, Mathew Burke (Dorrie) of Abbotsford, BC., Heather Giesbrecht (Ted) of Keswick and John Hood (Jill) of Sutton; his grandchildren, Dave (Laura), Danielle (John), Dylan (Lexi), Darin, Jasmine, Cindy, Ricki, Kenny, Frankie, Samantha, Candice, Olivia, Monique, Gordon, Elizabeth, Jessica, Adon, Issac and Silvara; his great grandchild Hennessey; and his siblings, Joyce Josie, Helen Carle, Marvin Beechener and Jim Beechener.

Memorial donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
