He was predeceased by: his parents, Knowlton Rooney and Greta Kennedy; his brother Beverley; his sister-in-law Maxine; and his siblings, Spenser (Patricia) and Clarice (Andrew).
He is survived by: his significant other Nancy; his siblings, Chester (Vivian), Sandra (Robert) and June (Frank); his son Jesse; and his grandchildren, Bentley and Aubrey. He is also survived by nephews, and his many cousins and friends.
