She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant and Eileen; and her brother Dale. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy; her grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) and Leah; her sister Debbie (Andy); her niece Melanie (Sean); and her nephew Patrick (Jessica). She is also survived by extended family including many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, chosen family, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Dialysis Unit at the Lakeshore Hospital, an organization close to Gail's heart, where she received exceptional care and support.
