He is survived by: his son Marcel Ruest (Linda) of Admiral; his granddaughter Celia Kunze (Joe); his great grandchildren, Victoria, Kaitlyn and Keira; his granddaughter Sabrina MacDonald (Derek); his great grandchildren, Ryder, Everleigh and Isabella; his granddaughter Amber Ruest (Peter); his daughter Aline Backstrom (Mervin); his grandson Brian Backstrom; his daughter Jo-Anne King of Swift Current; his grandchildren, Kevin King and Kristina King (Aaron); his siblings, Daniel Ruest (Gilberte) and Laurianne Douville; and his sister-in-law Alda Ruest. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
