She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Aasen and Christina Aasen; and her daughter Rachelle Ellis. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Evans; her former husband James Kerr; her children, Randy Kerr (Karin) and Rhonda Kerr (Leonard Kampel); her son-in-law Shane Ellis; her stepchildren, Michael Evans (Michelle) and JoAnn Reynolds (Sean); her grandchildren, Jenessa (Sam), Kevin, Chad, Grace (Alex), Reilly (Nico), Sam, Jack, Owen and Amy; and her brothers, Gord Aasen (Lois), Rob Aasen (Helene Sutton) and Dave Aasen (Valerie Owens). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour.
