She was predeceased by: her husband Howard; her daughter Faye; her husband Wayne; her parents, Lloyd Opheim and Hannah Opheim; her brother Garry Opheim; and her in-laws, Jonas and Rose Sloan.

She is survived by: her son Howard Sloan (Kathy) of Alameda; her grandchild Taylor (Lindsay); her daughter Bonnie Brooks (Kevin) of Storthoaks; her grandchildren, Jonas (Amy), Shelby Brooks, Kianna (Dakota), Brooks (Olivia) of Storthoaks, Cole Brooks (Victoria) of Alameda and Jake Granger of Storthoaks; her daughter Gail Sloan (Corey) of Fort Qu'appelle; her grandchildren, Nick Zerie (Kayla) of Weyburn and Riley Zerie (Nikita) of Weyburn; her friend June McNeil of Oxbow; her sister-in-law Joanne Opheim of Medicine Hat; her brothers, Brian Opheim (Millie) of Hazlet and Myles Opheim (Patti) of Wakaw Lake; Maxine Smith (Doug) of Swift Current. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
